Ft Myers Fly Fishing Charters

Ft Myers Fly Fishing ChartersThis is the fly fishing charter we book for for you if you want to catch a bunch of different fish. If you want numbers and be able to sight fish then our night fly fishing charters are the way to go for you. Early in the day we may have you casting streamers for Spec Trout. Then we often switch gears and have you casting shrimp or crab flies to the mangrove shorelines for Snook. Most of our fly fishing charters start early to take advantage of the calm wind conditions that occur most mornings. There are certain times of the year and certain tides where we may start later in the morning or in the afternoon, our goal is to put you on the water at the very best possible time to be out.

Inshore Fly Fishing
Fly Fishing For Snook

Inshore Fly Fishing

We offer inshore / back country flats fly fishing for several species. The most popular is Tarpon and Snook fly fishing, and the second is night fly fishing. We have a great population of resident Tarpon that are available from late April until the end of October each year on average. More info is on our Fly Fishing For Tarpon Page.

Fly Fishing For Snook

The Fort Myers area has some great fly fishing for Snook, especially in the 10K islands. The area we fish and the tactics we use change as the Snook move during the year. In the cold water months of November, December, January, February, March and April the Snook move from the gulf beaches into the warmer waters of the rivers and residential canals. Our Fort Myers night fly fishing charters are client a favorite. It gets dark early in the winter you don’t have to stay out late to have great fishing. As the water warms in early spring the Snook will slowly move from the canals and rivers onto the flats. In the fall and winter Snook fishing In the 10K Islands during the day is outstanding with 20+ Snook days are the norm.
